Amie just sent a picture of Karen at "St. Madsen" (Megan and Jeff's house). Jeff quickly whipped up a shower in their laundry room and as Megan put it, he did an excellent job "Jerry-rigging" the job...Jerry would have been proud!
Good to have Karen out of the hospital and in the care of her wonderful family and friends.

I hope you're getting to read all the wonderful words of encouragement that people are sending. Wendy called me last week and you haven't been out of my thoughts and prayers since then. My love to you, Susan, Mindy, Jerome (I too, want to say little Jerry....because that's what he was way back then) and to Megan.
I can't imagine you without Jerry but can tell that there is so much love in your family and that Jerry's spirit will be with you all. His common sense, his wisdom and his love for life will serve you all well during the days ahead.
My best to you and I pray a very speedy recovery for you.
